Interning at a marketing firm working to promote local cultural events, I helped create standardized card sets for the "¡Sombra! Experiments in Shade" project created by the Phoenix Office of Arts and Culture, as well as miscellaneous graphics for local events.

The lessons I learned working with this firm have been helpful both to my career as well as my purpose as a marketer. Through working directly with industry professionals on communications software such as Asana I gained a vast understanding of the workflow of a career professional and just how many projects have to be juggled at once. It was also through making promotions for local art events that I found a sense of fulfillment in helping other artists have their own work be known, helping propel the culture forward.
